The ultimate ride to work pants. We built the OUTLIER 4Season OG Pant to be worn day in and day out, both on and off your bike. To this you need something that can stand up to the ride and look good after it's done. The 4Season OGs are a clean cut slack with versatile performance, ready to handle everything from the pressure of the office to a rain storm on your commute. The OG stands for Original Garment, the OG pants are the reason we exist. While the first version we released was close to perfect we refuse to stop pushing, and we are now on the third iteration, a finely honed improvement to our core pants.

Why are these the best pants to bike to work in? On the bike, they breathe, they stretch, they wick and they repel light rain and road grime. At the office they drape beautifully, never stink of sweat, and look like the high quality made in New York City slacks that they are. Your coworkers will have no idea that you rode happily into work wearing them, while they stewed in traffic all morning. The self-cleaning nanosphere treatment means that coffee, wine and dirt roll off with ease, keeping you looking fresh and clean in the trickiest of situations. The Schoeller Dryskin Extreme fabric looks elegant, yet repels water. But when it does saturate, will dry in minutes (generally around 15-20). The doubleweave structure means it's tough and durable on the exterior, yet soft and comfortable inside. The four way stretch doubles-down on that comfort and means these pants move freely through any situation.

For the Fall '09 release we've dialed in the fit even more. We slimmed the bottom of the leg slightly  while still leaving room in the thigh for your cycling muscles. We also reworked the waistband, using that actual 4Season fabric on both sides for comfort, but changing inner fusing to keep the visual lines sharp and crisp when you wear it. The inseam is 34 on most sizes, but for sizes 35 and up we went with a 36 inseam. Like most high end pants they are designed to be tailored to your perfect length. The cut is a medium lean that should fit true to size. Buy the size you usually buy in other brands and it should fit flawlessly.

Size Chart (in inches)

A note on waist sizes: If you usually buy size 30 pants, you probably are a size 30 in our sizing. You'll notice that the waist band actually measures 2 inches more than the named size. This is an industry standard, most pants sold as size 30 waist actually have a waistband that measures 32" and sometimes it'll even measure as much as 34". There are a few reasons for this. For one, no one actually wears pants at their actual waist anymore, so if you measure 30" at your real waist you will likely measure around 32" where you wear your pants. But it's also a vanity thing, as men in the US got bigger clothes started getting bigger, Mediums are bigger than they used to be and so are size 30s. We tried fighting it for a second but it was too confusing, so we rolled with the standard, but we also felt the need to be honest on our sizing, so there it is above.
